Nose-lip furrows filling or cheek area fatty tissue transplant filling

Definition : Fatty tissue transplants may be applied for the cheek area or to fill deep wrinkles and facial furrows. The procedure consists of acquiring fatty tissue from the trunk or lower limbs and after proper preparation, injecting to the face. This procedure may be preceded by the "surgi wire" method based on releasing skin over deep furrows which ensures adequate space for fatty tissue application.

Age : 30 or over

Surgical technique : The procedure may be performed in a local anesthetic or an intravenous anesthetic and requires acquiring own fatty tissue and injecting it into the deep furrow area or wrinkles to raise the cheek area or to model the face. The bandage is maintained for 1 day.

Operation duration : 1-2 hours

Recovery time : usually 1-7 days
