Hialuronic acid preparations application

Definition : Many hialuronic acid preparations are available, e.g. Restylane or Surgiderm. Their purpose is to level wrinkles located on the forehead, around the eyes, lips, nose-lip folds, lip enlargement and contour accenting as well as face oval modeling (cheeks, chin). The advantage of using these preparations is that they do not cause allergy. Their unique feature is also slow degradation. This means that in time the material is slowly absorber while the volume of the filling remains the same. That is why the effects last for up to 18 months. The effect is almost instantaneous.

Age : 25 or over

Surgical technique : The procedure may be performed with Emla anesthetic. Small amount of the preparation are injected into the skin. Depending on the sort of the preparation the procedure needs to be repeated within 6-12 months.

Operation duration : 30 minutes
