Happy lift procedure

Definition : The HAPPY LIFT operation improves (and rejuvenates) of the face and the neck. Skin and facial muscles become flabby with age. The HAPPY LIFT operation will not halt the aging process, it may only raise deeper structures and stretch the skin resulting in a rejuvenation effect. The best candidates for this procedure are patients with little flabbiness, an elastic skin and visible bone structures.

Age : 30 or over

Surgical technique : The procedure is performed in a general or local anesthetic with the participation of an anesthesiologist. Usually, a cut of 0.8 inch in the temporal area is made. Special soluble threads with polylactic acid hooks are introduced to strongly stimulate collagen. These hooks do not only stimulate new collagen production, they also mechanically lift facial and neck skin. They dissolve within a year, whereas the effect of the procedure is improving within months thanks to the acid in the threads. The patient remaind under observation for a few hours or up to a day. The stitches in the temporal area are removed within 3-4 days.
