Thigh raising procedure (thigh lifting)
Definition : The thigh raising (lifting) procedure is a surgical procedure aimed at removing excess skin and fatty tissue from the inner surface of the thighs. This is not a procedure performed in order to reduce overweight. Obese people should undergo this procedure after losing weight when tey acquire a constant body mass. There are many techniques applicable for inner thigh surface lifting.
Age : 18 or over
Surgical technique : This procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Depending on the amount of the skin different methods may be applied. The cuts are made in the groins. The patient remains under observation for 2 days. Wearing a special suit is recommended for 4-6 weeks after the procedure.
