Silicon implant breast enlargement

Definition : The silicon implant breast enlargement operation is an operating procedure performed to enlarge breasts because of the following reasons:
1. woman's body shape improvement when she feels that her breasts size is too small,
2. loss of breast volume after pregnancy,
3. equalizing breast size when the difference between the size of the breasts is significant,
4. breast reconstruction
The size and shape of the breasts before the procedure will affect both the treatment method and the result. If the breasts sizes and shapes differ, it is impossible for them to be absolutely symmetrical after the procedure.

Age : 18 or over

Surgical technique : The breast enlargement operation is performed under general anesthesia. During the preceding consultation implants are selected by use of a computer (size, shape). The cut through which the implants are inserted may be located below the breasts, in the armpits or on the rim of the nipple. The implant may be placed below the breast muscle or below the gland. After the procedure the patient remains under observation for 24 hours. Wearing a special bra for a period of 6 weeks is advisable.
