Silhouette lift procedure
Definition : The silhouette lift operation is a surgical procedure aimed at the improvement (rejuvenation) of the face and neck. The silhouette threads may be applied for brow lift, cheek lift, loose skin reduction in the jaw and neck lifting.
Age : 30 or over
Surgical technique : The procedure may be performed under general or local anesthesia with the participation of an anesthesiologist. In the temple or the occiput area a small cut is made through which needles are inserted. These include hooks allowing raising soft tissues. The tip of the needle is attached to the temple fascia or the occiput fascia. New collagen is produced around the threads which leads to a further raise of the skin and maintaining stress in the soft tissues. This process continues slowly for the next year. The effect of the procedure is visible immediately after completing the procedure. The stitches in the temple area are removed within 10 days. The bandage is removed after 3-4 days.
