Definition : Operations after large weight loss consist of removing excessively stretched trunk, arm and thigh skin. Such procedures should be preceded by a suitable diet and physical exercise which lead to proper muscle development and precise laboratory tests confirming a good organism condition

Age : 18 or over


Surgical technique : The procedure is performed under general anesthesia. Depending on the amount of the skin many methods may be applied. Cuts are usually located in the armpits for arm lifting, in the groins for thigh lifting and the lower abdomen in case of trunk plastic surgery. The patient remains under observation for 2-3 days. Wearing a special suit is recommended for 4-6 weeks after the procedure.
