Education: Doctor of medical sciences, graduate of the Medical University of Warsaw. Specialisation in vascular surgery at the French College of Vascular Surgery, university diploma in vascular surgery - Universite Paris XII, AFSA diploma in vascular surgery - Universite Paris VI. Author and co-author of numerous Polish and international publications on vascular and general surgery and of meeting presentations. Vice-Chancellor award in 1999 - "Wykorzystanie allograftów tętniczych" [Use of arterial allografts].

Experience: Many years in France at reference vascular surgery centres in Paris. For over 10 years, assistant at the 2nd Department of General and Vascular Surgery, Second Faculty of Medicine, Medical University of Warsaw. Secretary of Polsko-Francuskie Towarzystwo Angiologiczne [Polish French Angiology Society]. Editor for Przegląd Angiologiczny [Angiology Review] - a publication of Polsko-Francuskie Towarzystwo Angiologiczne. Honorary member of College Français de Pathologie Vasculaire, Polish Society for Vascular Surgery, Polish Phlebological Society, College Français de Chirurgie Vasculaire.

Professional interests: particular interest in phlebology.
