Jarosław Strychar, MD, PhD
Specialisation: orthopaedics and traumatology.
Education: Graduate of the Belarusian State University in Minsk in 1998. Doctor of medical sciences degree obtained from the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin. Scientific and teaching staff member at the Medical University of Warsaw.
Experience: Since 1999, has been involved in orthopaedics - initially at the State Institution "Republic Scientific-Practical Center of Traumatology and Orthopedics" in Minsk, and since 2001 - at the Traumatology and Hand Surgery Department of the Poznań University of Medical Sciences, the Department of General Surgery and Hand Surgery of the Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, and since 2005 - at the Department of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Second Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Warsaw. Has also gained experience in the United Kingdom (Department of Hand Surgery Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London) and Portugal (Department of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Surgery Garcia de Orta Hospital, Lisbon).
Specialist in the treatment of:
- hand trauma,
- post-traumatic complications,
- connective tissue disorders,
- nerve compression syndromes,
- complications post brachial plexus and peripheral nerve damage,
- rheumatoid arthritis of the hand (surgical approach).
Author of numerous Polish and international scientific publications.
Member of Polskie Towarzystwo Chirurgii Ręki [Polish Hand Surgery Society] and the European Society of Sports Traumatology, Knee Surgery and Arthroscopy (ESSKA).
