Medical equipment at the LUX MED Group Hospital

Currently, the finishing works at the LUX MED Group One Day Surgery Hospital are being completed. The next step will consist in installation of state-of-the-art medical equipment in hospital departments and the operating block. It will include surgical columns: laparoscopic-arthroscopic, anaesthetic and a full-scope patient monitoring system.
The conventional care unit will consist of five rooms for patients and a double-bed wakening room. Patient consultations and minor surgical procedures will be carried out in the outpatient's clinic.

The hospital will also include a four-bed alimentary tract endoscopy department and a cosy day-care room for post-endoscopy patients. Emergency cases, such as trauma, dislocation or fractures will be treated by specialists in the emergency department consisting of surgical and orthopaedic rooms, designed for both surgery and consultation.

The diagnostic department will be equipped with ultrasound, X-ray and high-class computed tomography units. The CT provides very detailed data without having to move the patient and significantly reduces the duration of examination. This is particularly important in the case of patients who had suffered trauma or patients in grave general condition. State-of-the-art third-generation CT scanner allows performing a biopsy, ablation and lung and abdominal cavity, as well as orthopaedic, vascular and urological examinations.
