In emergency cases, under the fee of PLN 200, we perform one-off examinations and procedures as required for attending to adult patients reporting to the emergency care department:
• consultation of the duty physician - a surgeon or an orthopaedist,
• superficial wound stitching and dressing,
• all the required X-ray examinations, as ordered by the physician,
• orthopaedic injury dressing and immobilisation,
• analgesic agent injections (the so-called blocks),
• tick removal,
Our emergency department is on duty 24 h a day. You can report to us if you are an adult and have suffered from any of the following:
• skin cut, burn, etc. requiring surgical dressing,
• abdominal complaint of surgical emergency nature,
• injury accompanied by a suspected fracture, dislocation or another orthopaedic problem,
• sudden joint pain,
• insect (tick) bite or another bite wound.
As per the safety regulations applied by the LUX MED Group, if the scope of services offered under the emergency assistance is not sufficient for providing proper care to the patient, such a patient is referred to another facility. There is also a possibility of using medical transport - under the applicable fee. In cases where the patient's condition necessitates medical transport, such transport is organised free of charge by the LUX MED Group Hospital.
As part of the emergency assistance, there is also a possibility of performing additional examinations upon the patient's request, such as ultrasound and tomography examinations, analysis of blood parameters, selection of advanced orthopaedic devices and materials (e.g. light plaster).
The above services are offered under a fee, as per the current price list.
