LUX MED – the mother-to-be friendly place
LUX MED Medical Centre in ul. Migdałowa in Warsaw has been awarded with the title "Miejsce Przyjazne Przyszłej Mamie" ("The Mother-to-be Friendly Place"). The ranking was compiled as a part of the campaign "Odmienny stan - odmienne traktowanie" ("Expect better treatment when expecting") organised under the subject-matter patronage of the Polish Gynaecological Society. The members of the competition chapter as well as internet users could cast their votes on public offices, public institutions and commercial companies. Out of all reported institutions only 10 have been awarded with the title.
The goal of the educational campaign "Odmienny stan - odmienne traktowanie" ("Expect better treatment when expecting") is to make the society more aware of the special needs of pregnant women. The campaign is dedicated to changing the social approach and raising public awareness of the necessity to treat mothers-to-be and their children in a caring and responsible way.
Polish Gynaecological Society has contributed to issuing the mother-to-be appeal - a set of demands which includes, among other things, a collection of guidelines relating to a proper treatment of pregnant women with full respect to their health.
Apart from LUX MED in Warsaw, the title was also given to the Town Hall in Legionowo, Tax Office in Mińsk Mazowiecki and Muranów Cinema in Warsaw.
"We are particularly proud of the title of The Mother-to-be Friendly Place as it was awarded by women who expect a special care and intuition from both medical and customer service staff due to their special condition. LUX MED in Migdałowa was reported to take part in the ranking by our Patients, who had experienced the highest quality of our services. Positive opinions of mothers-to-be were confirmed by the competition chapter consisting of doctors, mothers and media representatives," said Elżbieta Cytrycka, Managing Director of LUX MED at Migdałowa 1A.
